FIRST set your password
1. In a web browser, go to Login.microsoftonline.com.
2. Enter your full email address.
3. Enter the default TEMPORARY password: NewPass4sem*
4. You will then be prompted to enter it again along with whatever you want your new password to be.
5. Enter your new password a second time to confirm.

Entourage for Mac 2008
1. Go under Tools à Accounts and select your Account. Click the Delete icon at the top of the screen. This will delete the server account data stored on your computer. This will NOT delete any local email. This MAY TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES where Entourage appears to be doing nothing. Have patience.
2. After this is completed, restart Entourage. Go back to Tools à Accounts and verify that the account is gone. This sometimes hangs and you may need to delete it again. If this happens restart Entourage again.
3. When your old account is finally gone, and you have clicked on Tools à Accounts click New.
4. Set Account Type to IMap. Click OK
5. At the next screen, enter the following information:
           Account Name: Your Name
           Name: Your Name
           Email Address: Your Full Email Address
           Under Receiving Email
                       Account ID: Your Full Email Address
                       IMap Server: outlook.office365.com
                       Password: Your Password
                       Save Password in My Mac OS Keychain. You may click this if you like.
                       Click on “Click here for advanced receiving optionsâ€
                                   Check “This IMap server requires a secure connection.â€
                                   Check “Override Default IMap Port†and set it to 993
                                   Click off the screen (there is no OK button)
Under Sending Email
                       SMTP Server: outlook.office365.com
                       Click on “Click here for advanced sending optionsâ€
                                   Check “SMTP server requires a secure connection.â€
                                   Check “Override SMTP Port†and set it to 587
Click off the screen (there is no OK button)
6. Click OK. Email should start coming in after about minute.

Apple Mail
Tested with Version 6.6
1. Create new account (Preferences à Accounts then click the + sign).
2. Enter Name, Email Address and Password.
3. Click continue. As long as setting are correct, Mail will automatically connect.

Outlook For Mac 2011
If you are not getting new email, do the following:
1. Go under Tools à Accounts and select your Account from the left pane. Click the minus button at the bottom of the pane. This will delete the server account data stored on your computer. This will NOT delete any local email.
2. After this is completed, restart Outlook. Go back to Tools à Accounts and verify that the account is gone. This sometimes hangs and you may need to delete it again. If this happens restart Outlook again.
3. When your old account is finally gone, and you have clicked on Tools à Accounts, you should get a prompt to set up your email. Click on “Exchange or Office 365â€
4. You will be shown several fields. Enter the following information:
           Email Address: Your FULL email address   Â
           Method: Username and Password
           Username: Your FULL email address
           Password: Your Password
           Check Configure Automatically if it is not already checked.
           Click OK.
5. You MAY be prompted that Outlook was redirected to another server. This is OK. Click “Always Use My Response For This Server†then click Allow.
6. After a few seconds, your email should start coming back into your computer. All email, contacts and calendar events that had been on the server should come back in. Depending on the amount of data you have stored on the server, this may take 30 minutes to several hours. It just depends on how fast you internet connection is and how much data you have on the server.
Anyone with an iPhone can now check their work email from their phone. Here are the settings to connect. If you have any problems, email me.

Description: Anything you want, usually your email address

Username: SEM\yourname (SEM must be capitalized!)

Concord users with iPhones older than the 3G may have problems. This is because you are unable to enable SSL during setup. To work around it, continue setting up the account and disregard any errors that pop up. Then go back into the settings for the account and enable SSL.
For all users, you may get certificate errors during setup. Just press continue.
Turning On / Off the Out of Office Notification using a Web Client If you are going on vacation or will be in a location in which you will be unable to check your email, here is how you can turn on your Out of Office notifications.
Web Browser email client
Problem: Email is running slow. We get the spinning "lollipop" frequently. Solution #1: Too much email in your account on the server. Move older emails from your online account to your local harddrive.
To rebuild your Entourage Database do the following:
1. Quit out of Entourage and all other Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer.
2. Go to the Applications : Microsoft Office 2004 : Office : and double-click on the application Database Utility.
3. Select the database you want to rebuild. This will USUALLY (but not always) be named Main Identity.
4. Click Rebuild Database. (This could take a while.)
