1.1. Entourage for Mac 2008

FIRST set your password

1. In a web browser, go to Login.microsoftonline.com.

2. Enter your full email address.

3. Enter the default TEMPORARY password: NewPass4sem*

4. You will then be prompted to enter it again along with whatever you want your new password to be.

5. Enter your new password a second time to confirm.

Entourage for Mac 2008

1. Go under Tools Ã Accounts and select your Account. Click the Delete icon at the top of the screen. This will delete the server account data stored on your computer. This will NOT delete any local email. This MAY TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES where Entourage appears to be doing nothing. Have patience.

2. After this is completed, restart Entourage. Go back to Tools Ã Accounts and verify that the account is gone. This sometimes hangs and you may need to delete it again. If this happens restart Entourage again.

3. When your old account is finally gone, and you have clicked on Tools Ã Accounts click New.

4. Set Account Type to IMap. Click OK

5. At the next screen, enter the following information:

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Email Address: Your Full Email Address

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Under Receiving Email

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Account ID: Your Full Email Address

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â IMap Server: outlook.office365.com

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Password: Your Password

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Save Password in My Mac OS Keychain. You may click this if you like.

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Click on â€œClick here for advanced receiving optionsâ€

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Check â€œThis IMap server requires a secure connection.â€

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Check â€œOverride Default IMap Portâ€ and set it to 993

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Click off the screen (there is no OK button)

Under Sending Email

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â SMTP Server: outlook.office365.com

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Click on â€œClick here for advanced sending optionsâ€

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Check â€œSMTP server requires a secure connection.â€

Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Check â€œOverride SMTP Portâ€ and set it to 587

Click off the screen (there is no OK button)

6. Click OK. Email should start coming in after about minute.
