1.6. Adding Logos & Graphics Files

Preparing Classified Logos & Graphics (CPH)

1. Open the artwork in Photoshop and ensure that it is a minimum of 3 inches wide. If prompted for an image resolution, set this at 300 dpi.

2. If the artwork is in color, make sure it is in CMYK.

3. Save the artwork as a JPEG, using the filename convention: "artworkname_C.jpg". Use "_C" if the artwork has color or "_BW" if the artwork is in black and white. Note: JPEG is the most reliable format to use in this application, and is highly recommended. The documentation claims that TIFF and EPS images will work, but don't count on it.

4. Save the file in AdsReadyToPaginate | Pages | PBSArtwork | Logos and Art | CP | Classified_Logos.

5. See Inserting Logos & Graphics for instructions on inserting the artwork into an ad.

Preparing Classified Attention Getters (CPH)

1. Follow the instructions for preparing logos and graphics.

2. Save the file in AdsReadyToPaginate | Pages | PBSArtwork | Logos and Art | CP | EyeCatchers.

3. See Ad Formatting for instructions on inserting the attention getter into an ad.
