1.1. Troubleshoot transfer of news stories to the website

Steps to take if news stories are not flowing into Tracker:

1. Check to see whether the stories appear at C:\temp\XMLPublisher on 192.168.50.178 - there should be story files dated early that morning or shortly before midnight the previous night. If there are no stories for the day, go to step 2. If the stories are there, go to step 3.

2. Check to make sure that the program XMLPublisher is running on 192.168.50.178 - if it's not running or if there are errors, stop and restart the program. If stories still do not appear in C:\temp\XMLPublisher after a few minutes, restart the server.

You will need to start 4 programs on the server:
(a) XMLPublisher. You must click the Start button in the program for it to run.
(b) AdIntegration. You must click the Start button in the program for it to run.
(c) eReciever
(d) WideReciever

Once the stories are in C:\temp\XMLPublisher on 192.168.50.178, if stories do not appear in Tracker after a few minutes, go to step 3.

3. There's a program that runs on James Baughn's machine to transfer them to Tracker. If you see the stories at C:\temp\XMLPublisher on 192.168.50.178, but not in Tracker, restart James' Mac. The program that runs there will run every minute to transfer stories.
